Walks in Tassie

A two minute walk from the house gives rise to views like this.  Beautiful sunshine, fresh air and this view - who could ask for anything else?

Taking Steel, the puppy, and the pushchair along the rough roadside path is a bit of a challenge.  He is an incredibly friendly dog who wants to say hello to all the wildlife in Tassie, including the dead ones that we found in the bushes. 

 All was forgiven when he managed to find this sleeping echidna at beside a tree.  I managed to keep him from waking it as I'm sure he wouldn't have wanted a nose full of prickles.  The animal was definitely alive though, its breathing was clearly visible - cute!
