Our first stop on The Great Ocean Road was Bells Beach. What a beautiful beach! It is where the final scenes for Point Break were filmed. The waves were huge and there was no way I was getting in the actual water. The
pictures really don't do their 
size justice. The foam rising up the beach was fast coming and disappearing. I got the ends of my short trousers soaked a few times. Amazingly, not many people who were looking at the beach actually went down the steps onto it which probably contributed to its serenity.
